The Dag van de Architectuur 2009 takes place. Theme this year: Architecture and Mobility. During these two days the public can see different major infrastructure developments up close, including the building sites of the new Central Stations. Benthem Crouwel designed some of them: Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Utrecht, The Hague and the new underground railway station in Delft. In Madurodam, minister Eurlings of Transport, Public Works and Water Management has opened the new Central Station of Utrecht. The model measures 10 by 3,7 metres and is largely made of stainless steel.
