Congress Centre, Amstelveen
This congress centre and apartment building are part of the new heart
of Amstelveen.
The congress centre occupies a two-storey basement that locks into the retail
area round about. The ten-storey residential tower, which marks the entrance to
the new centre, boasts a capacious entrance lobby with a tall glass facade and
an underground parking facility for its apartments. The stepped shape of the congress
hall can be read in the exterior. Entrance and foyer are tucked below the hall
behind the glass facade. The ensemble has a vibrancy that adds to the ambience
of the new town square.
